This is another video from the YMCMB label which features Nicki Minaj with Rick Ross, Kayne West, Jay Z and Nicki Minaj. This song is called Monster and has a theme of horror however we can still recognise the codes and conventions of RnB genre music videos. For example the video opens with a woman in lingerie(hanging from the roof to match the theme of the song) who looks thin and model like which then moves down to her black heels which gives quite a glamorous image.
Then the title of the song 'Monster' is shown in a graphic image which often occours in music video so I shall include a title when I create my music video. We then have a small clip of Nicki Minaj screaming which makes the audience expect to see her do a verse at some point in the song. The next shot we have is of Rick Ross in a room full of the girls in lingerie, he is sat in a big chair almost like a throne and smoking a cigar, wearing nice clothing represents wealth and power, this is expected in an RnB video.
